Vidhan sabha constituency- Why only Chimur?? Why not Chimur- Nagbhid???

Dear Friends,

Elections are about to be declared in Maharashtra. The political climate is hot and all politicians are trying sky and earth to get the tickets for the elections!

Chimur vidhansabha constituency is also getting ready for this festival of democracy.

I am following the elections since 1990 elections, the time we were part of Bramhapuri constituency.
Even a child in Nagbhid knows how we are neglected by our own MLA who were elected by us.

Now also the same things are going on. Any new project, roads, govt offices are provided to the Chimur only. All the major activities are conducted there only completely neglecting Nagbhid.

If we compare both talukas voter wise then we are nowhere less than chimur. Chimur taluka has 230 villages with population of 1.6 lakh while Nagbhid taluka has 160 villages with 1.3 lakh people. Both the towns have equal population.
Then why the focus is only on Chimur?

Where is Nagbhid?

I appeal to all politicians at Nagbhid from all parties to call it a Chimur-Nagbhid constituency and not only Chimur constituency. All journalists should give news as a Chimur- Nagbhid constituency.
I am going to raise up the issue  officially with govt and election commission using RTI.
There are many vidhasabha constituencies in Maharashta which are named similarly e.g.- Tasgaon-Kavathe Mahankal, Palus-KadegaonOvala-Majiwada.
Why can't we ask for the same ?

If we call it Chimur- Nagbhid constituency, then only future MLAs will remember us and provide the deserved development.

Plz opine.

Pandav Gufa- A Historic place near Nagbhir to see the stone age tools used by prehistoric man.

I am sure most of the Nagbhidkars are aware of this place near Nagbhir...

It is awesome place to visit for history crazy people..

Place-
Kunghada, near nagbhir..9 km from Nagbhir
How to reach-
Nagpur- Nagbhir highway..Mohali village after Kanpa..take a right turn...500 meters from the highway. Bus or a car or two wheeler. Nearest railway station is Nagbhir.
Description-
4 caves carved out in a single stone. 1 more, separate from other 4 around 50 feet away. Size of caves around 10x10 ft with about 4 feet height.
Mythology-
Some people believe that the caves were made for Pandawas for vanvasa in Mahabharat time as the total number of caves in 5. They believe that one of the 5 brothers used to stay in a single cave. Therefore they are called Pandava gufa.

Fact-
Definite information regarding period of construction or who carved it out and intension is not known. But many researcher believe that it was made as a resting place for the Buddhist monks as the caves are placed on the way from Pavani (dist Bhandara) and Bhandravati (dist Chandrapur). A large size tank is situated around 500 meters away from caves which would have served the same purpose.

Care-
The caves are placed at the border of jungle and risk of wild animals is always there. A 10 year girl was killed by a leopard one year back in the evening in front of villagers adjacent to caves.

This sign is seen at the door of a single cave. It appears that the maker tried to make a human figure or it is an word from some script ...only experts can comment.

I could find some people worshiping the stones kept inside the caves. If carefully observed there are numerous stones which appear like the tools used by prehistoric man. Some more research is required to decide the time of the their use.

To conclude, this a excellent place to visit a single day tour while visiting Ghodazhari, Nagbhir or nearby places.

Dear Nagbhidkars,

Warm Welcome to my blog!

Elections are here again.....Every big and small politician has suddenly become very active....as if in next 6 months, we will be metamorphosed into the developed country!!! We will have 24x7 power, good quality education, jobs for everybody, pollution free industries, quality health care at doorstep, 24x7 clean water for drinking and irrigation and comfortable affordable transport!!!
These are some promises which are being poured on everywhere!!!
We are part of Chimur Vidhansabha constituency now and Bramhapuri in past!!
But everyone will accept the fact that no one till date has ever cared or bothered about Nagbhid or Nagbhir!!
This year also I am following local newspapers or websites....We are no where....
Somethings like some bridge over Nallah, some cement road soewhere are provided to us. Is this going to change the fortune of the our children and farmers!!!

This is the time when we have to GET UP and raise our voice!! Show them that we are united !!
They can not ask for votes from Nagbhir and provide all amenities to other places!!!

In this blog I will try to ask concerned people about the various projects which are either pending or not being given when we deserve them!!!
We are citizens of Nagbhir, not divided by cast, religion, economy, education!!

Let us raise our voice and ASK...

DEVELOPMENT....WHEN and HOW???
